Somer Garcia

In 2005 Somer established a Pet Sitting & Dog Walking business named Pet Minded out of Aliso Viejo, Ca. It quickly became a success and in 2008 she sold the business to another local business owner at 9 months pregnant! In 2012, after her husband Michael completed his Fire Medic training, she started a business with her passion for Organizing. Embrace this Space was born out of Ladera Ranch, Ca and thrived to busy families of the surrounding community. In 2018, her and her family packed up and made the move to Texas! Since then, Somer has been busy raising 3 sweet boys and building her business in a new town. In 2021, rebranding again to include Michael‘s Handyman Services, The Village Home Services, LLC was established as their combined business name. Somer is in her happy place when she is helping others to Organize their spaces, helping to choose the right storage and decor for a room as well as how live with less stuff !

Michael Garcia

After many years of training and moving up the corporate ladder, Michael is now a Fire Chief of a local hospital here in the Dallas area. He is also a highly qualified Handyman in his free time. He has supported Somer in her Organizing business since its inception and allows her to help clients bring their dreams to reality with his talent! He has a wide range of skills including carpentry, closet installation, plumbing, electrical etc. All while maintaining the highest degree of safety, accuracy with a smile and helpful attitude. Before all else, he is dedicated father to 3 boys and enjoys supporting them at all their sports games!
